The turtleneck is a clothing item that is quickly making its way back into our wardrobes (hence, the reason I've given it, its own post). Turtlenecks have become a quick and easy 'i have nothing to wear' kinda outfit to throw on when you really do have nothing to wear. I hope this post convinces you that investing in one is essential for this winter season because apparently, they're here to stay.

Ah, winter has arrived (cue clapping in the background) and I could not be more happier. This winter, a couple of things I'm looking forward to are oversized fluffy jumpers, hot chocolate and sleeping in (yay to a whole month uni break)! But for now, let the winter wardrobe begin.

KATE MOSS X TOPSHOP

Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending the Kate Moss X Topshop preview at Topshop, Sydney. The supermodel, style icon and all round Topshop advocate had a lot to showcase. From fringe jackets, sequin dresses and metallic shirts, Moss has a range of items across her four, show stopping collections: Balearic Dressing, Cocktail Hour, Pyjama Dressing and Tailoring Noir.

These are just a couple of items that I've accumulated over the past two to three weeks. Having a part time job, an open bank account and mid semester uni break just screams out disaster. Literally.

the perfect plaid shirt.

I've been on the hunt for the 'perfect plaid shirt' for a while now. The perfect colour. The perfect fit. It's such a great investment and key staple in any wardrobe. I've always wanted to rock the plaid shirt with a leather jacket and pair of jeans for the ultimate laid back rocker chic vibe.

A quick outfit that was put on before I braved the Boxing Day sales and then left Pitt St to take photos at the Botanic Gardens. My Celine tee could not come any sooner and I was eagerly awaiting its arrival, so once it came in the mail (the night before) I had to wear it.  I hope you all had a lovely New Years Eve and welcomed 2014 as happy as one can possibly be. Let 2014 be a year you continue to accomplish your dreams and aspirations!

The Neon Zone.

First off, I have to apologize for neglecting my blog! I am such a bad owner and take full responsibility for my careless act. One hundred and one apologies. 

I have been super, crazy busy with final high school exams, a part-time job and waving goodbye to the two most important people in my life, my mother and sister as they venture off overseas. 

On another note this is my first personal style fashion post! How very exciting! I'm usually not one to stray away from my obsession with black but when I saw this top I fell in love and I had to have it.
